1. Tickets & Payment
Tickets should be treated like cash. The organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen, counterfeit, duplicated, transferred without authorization or otherwise invalid tickets.
Admission may be denied when a valid ticket or other required proof of admission cannot be presented. Unauthorized duplication, resale, alteration or misuse of tickets may result in cancellation of the ticket and denial of admission without refund.
All transactions conducted directly by Greater Nashville Boat Show staff, including on-site ticket purchases, require an accepted electronic form of payment. Greater Nashville Boat Show staff do not accept cash. Payment methods accepted by independent exhibitors, vendors or other third parties are determined solely by those parties.
2. Refund Policy
All ticket purchases and other admission purchases are final. No refunds, returns or exchanges will be issued, including for failure to attend, removal from the event, changes to event programming or other event details, or cancellation of the event, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This refund policy applies except where a refund is expressly required by applicable law.
3. Event Changes or Cancellation
The organizer reserves the right to alter event dates, times, location, programming, activities, exhibitors, vendors or other event details, or to cancel the event, due to force majeure or circumstances beyond the organizer’s reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, epidemics, accidents, severe weather, strikes, shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor or materials, venue unavailability, or other circumstances affecting the safety, operation or feasibility of the event.
All ticket purchases remain subject to the Refund Policy in Section 2, including in the event of cancellation, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The organizer shall not be responsible for consequential or incidental expenses or losses associated with an event change or cancellation, including travel, lodging, transportation or other personal expenses.
4. Same-Day Re-Entry Wristband Policy
Attendees who leave the event and intend to return later the same day must obtain an official event-issued wristband upon exit.
Wristbands are color-coded by event day, are valid for same-day re-entry only and are non-transferable. Wristbands are not valid for admission on any subsequent day. Altered, duplicated, transferred, excessively damaged or otherwise invalid wristbands may not be accepted.
Failure to present the appropriate valid wristband upon return may require the purchase of a new ticket.
5. Conduct, Drugs, Alcohol & Safety
All attendees must comply with event rules, venue rules, applicable laws, and lawful instructions provided by event staff, venue personnel, security, law enforcement or emergency personnel.
Illegal drugs and unlawful drug use or possession are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate removal from the event and may be referred to law enforcement.
Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Alcohol may be purchased or consumed only as permitted by the event, venue and applicable law. Alcoholic beverages may not be removed from designated event areas or carried out of the event. Attendees are solely responsible for their own consumption, conduct and actions.
The organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to or immediately remove, without refund, any person engaging in unsafe, disruptive, threatening, harassing, intoxicated, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate behavior, or any person who fails to comply with event or venue rules or instructions.
6. Minors & Supervision
All attendees under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult.
The accompanying adult is responsible for the supervision, safety and conduct of minors in their care while attending the event. Minors may not be left unattended and must comply with all event and venue rules and safety instructions.
7. Assumption of Risk
By entering or attending the event, you voluntarily assume the risks associated with attendance at a large public event, including risks of personal injury, death, illness, exposure to communicable diseases, and loss of or damage to property.
Such assumption of risk includes risks associated with participation in, interaction with, or use of activities, demonstrations, displays, entertainment, equipment, products or services offered or provided at the event by exhibitors, vendors, independent contractors or other third parties.
Attendance and participation are voluntary, and attendees are responsible for exercising reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of minors under their supervision.
8. Third-Party Services & Parking
Certain products, services, activities, demonstrations and entertainment available at the event may be provided by independent exhibitors, vendors, contractors or other third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizer is not responsible for the acts, omissions, products or services of such third parties.
Complimentary attendee parking is provided for the event. Vehicles are parked at the vehicle owner’s risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizer is not responsible for theft, loss or damage to vehicles or personal property left in or around vehicles.
9. Personal Property
Attendees are solely responsible for their personal belongings while attending the event.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizer, venue, sponsors and affiliates are not responsible for personal property that is lost, stolen, misplaced, abandoned or damaged at or in connection with the event.
Any lost-and-found services provided by the organizer or venue are offered as a courtesy and do not create responsibility or liability for the safekeeping, recovery or return of personal property.
10. Photography, Video & Recording
By entering or attending the event, you acknowledge that photography, video and audio recording may occur throughout the event.
You grant the organizer and its affiliates permission to photograph, film or otherwise record your image, likeness and voice and to use such recordings for advertising, marketing, promotional, informational and other lawful purposes related to the event and its future promotion, in any media, without compensation or additional notice, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Emergency & Medical Assistance
Law enforcement, security and emergency medical personnel may be present or available at the event. Their presence does not constitute a guarantee that medical, emergency or security assistance will be immediately available or sufficient for every circumstance.
Attendees are responsible for their own medical needs and for seeking appropriate assistance when necessary.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizer is not responsible for medical expenses, emergency treatment, ambulance or transportation costs, hospitalization or other costs incurred by or on behalf of an attendee.
Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizer, venue, sponsors, affiliates, officers, employees, agents and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages, losses or expenses arising out of or relating to the purchase or use of a ticket, attendance at the event, participation in event activities, or use of products or services available at the event.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of the organizer arising from or relating to a ticket purchase or attendance at the event shall not exceed the amount actually paid for the applicable ticket.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Governing Law & Venue
These terms, ticket purchases and attendance at the event are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms, a ticket purchase or attendance at the event shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Davidson County, Tennessee, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Reservation of Rights to Modify Terms
The organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to update, modify, supplement or amend these terms and conditions, event rules, policies and safety requirements at any time without prior notice.
The most current version will be posted on the official Greater Nashville Boat Show website. Continued use of a ticket, entry into the event or attendance at the event constitutes acceptance of the terms and policies then in effect, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
